Summer stay

The view was outstanding, room is big and bed was comfortable. Beach is in front of the hotel. Good soundproofing windows. Welcoming drinks.

In my room the balcony was missing but I guess only because I was unlucky and others with sea view and balconies were occupied.

The room was very small and the bathroom also, no alleviator in hotel so it’s difficult to transfer ur luggage .

Great location and very nice staff.

Location is great, right on the promenade next to the old town. Breakfast was great plenty of choice, staff fantasstic. Free water is a good touch. Premiere room was really good.

Stairs at the front of property are steep, and lifting a case up them is not ideal. Only 1 English speaking tv channel

Perfect for our four days in nice. Would recommend.

Great location, lovely big room in the Mercure club room and staff really friendly. Ideal for our holiday in Nice. Could not fault anything with the hotel facilities and quality of room.

Not the hotels fault but construction work in the alley next to our room woke us up early each day and was hard to relax in the afternoon with constant sawing and drilling. Can’t imagine this is a long term issue.

One of the highlights of the stay , was ,meeting Walid, who was a credit to the MERCURE Hotel,

we stayed in room 2 on ground floor ,The decor was lovely, were shower and toilets spotless, as for the location , well, just step out of hotel entrance and your on the Promenade des anglais , and of course the Med,

Large room. Spotlessly clean. Large bathroom with good selection of toiletries. Huge comfortable bed. Excellent location overlooking beach. Fantastic breakfast included.

OK but not amazing

Very good breakfast and very pleasant and friendly ladies serving the breakfast. Wonderful spacious bathroom with hot towel rail and non steam mirror became the highlight of our stay. Nice touches like candies in jars in the bar. Quite comfortable and centrally located. Reception staff are courteous and helpful.

Very centrally located busy hotel - not in a peaceful spot. Convenient for touristy shopping but not a place for meditation. Photo with blue chars, sea and balcony is deceptive - hotel is located right on a very busy road and sea is across that road. No lift - prepare to drag your full suitcases up the steep flight of stairs just to get to Reception. It was OK but next time if we go to Nice I'd look for other options.

Very nice hotel and assistance, despite the small room size. Excellent location!

Location is fantastic, as well as the staff. Also very nice breakfast.

View of the roof, and small room. Good for one person only. Prices slightly high for room size. I paid for the excellent location.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful city

The hotel is in a great location, central to all places of interest, modes of transport and bars & restaurants. Although in a prime spot, in the evening & overnight, it is quiet. The hotel is kept clean and presentable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with so much variety of food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a standard room, which was big enough, the only downside is there was no full length mirror in the room. There was plenty of wall space to have one.

A great place to stay to enjoy the old city and the beautiful waterfront.

Wonderful location. The sea in front of the building and the old city behind it. This hotel has lots of European charm. Also has a great breakfast with a friendly and accommodating attendant.

The open style shower takes a bit to get used to.
